FAQs

Why was the discount not applied to my order?

Many of our sales require a coupon code that needs to be entered manually at checkout. Coupon codes will be listed on the banner, in your email, or on our social pages. Some discounts may require an order minimum which is calculated on product total before shipping/sales tax charges.

Can I get the discount if an item I previously purchased is now on sale?

No, sales and discounts do not apply to previous purchases.

The product I want to purchase is on sale but out of stock, can I get the discount when it’s back in stock?

Discounts are only valid on in-stock merchandise, while supplies last.

Can I use a coupon code more than once?

There is a limit of one coupon code use per customer.

What is the expiration date of your products?

All Chris Christensen liquid products are 'best before' 36 months after the manufacture date. A good rule of thumb is that any product without an expiration date (like cosmetics) is shelf stable for 3 years from the time of manufacture, as long as they are stored at room temperature in a dark location. Additionally, it is important to note that if products freeze or are exposed to extreme heat, it may alter their functionality and performance.

How do I find the expiration date for your products?

The expiration date for our products can typically be found on the bottom of the bottle, on a white sticker with a batch number. This batch number typically appears as a series of numeric characters (e.g., XXXXXXX). Once you have found the batch number, please contact our customer service team for further assistance (support@chrischristensen.com or 800-654-7006). Our knowledgeable representatives will be happy to assist you in identifying the expiration date of your product and addressing any questions or concerns you may have.

Why does my SmartWash50 Whitening & Brightening look different?

At Chris Christensen, we pride ourselves on delivering the highest quality pet grooming products. Recently, some of our SmartWash50 Whitening & Brightening Shampoo gallons were shipped with less blue coloring than usual. We understand this may have caused some confusion. While the intense and vibrant blue color of SmartWash50 is something we know many of our customers appreciate, it's important to note that the blue color itself does not affect the whitening performance of the product. SmartWash50 Whitening & Brightening Shampoo works as a clarifier to enhance and brighten, whereas White on White uses a bluing agent to optically brighten the coat. Rest assured; we are actively working to ensure that all future batches of SmartWash50 Whitening & Brightening Shampoo will have a consistent color. Your satisfaction is our top priority. We appreciate your patience during this matter. Thank you for your understanding and continued trust in Chris Christensen products.

My product looks different. Have you changed your formula?

No, we have not changed our formulas. Occasionally, you may notice variations in the color of our products. This is due to natural differences in the raw ingredients we use. These variations do not affect the quality or effectiveness of our products. We only update our formulas if a specific raw ingredient is no longer available, and we need to find a suitable replacement. Rest assured, the performance and benefits of our products remain consistent.

Why doesn't my product match the image on the website?

Due to supply chain variations or periodic updates, there are times when the bottle, label, or lid of your product may differ slightly from the images on our website. Rest assured, these changes do not affect the quality or performance of the product itself. We are continually working to ensure that our images and descriptions are as accurate as possible. If you notice any discrepancies or have concerns, please feel free to reach out to our Customer Service team to alert us. Thank you for your understanding and patience.

Why do your gallons not seem all the way full?

Our gallon bottles are slightly larger than the standard size, and we aim to fill them to around 130 ounces—2 ounces more than the 128 ounces you’re paying for. Occasionally, the fill might vary slightly between 129 and 131 ounces due to the consistency of our filling machines, but our target is always 130 ounces. You can also check by weighing the gallon, which should come in at roughly 8.25 lbs. Think of it like a bag of chips or a box of cereal—the bottle may not appear full due to the extra space, but rest assured you’re getting the correct amount of product, plus a little extra.
