Thanks so much for your question! Yes, for your 12-week-old Bichon Frise puppy, the Kärben Slicker Brush in size Small is the perfect choice. As your Bichon grows, you may continue using the Small size and could very well continue with the same size into adulthood.
If you plan on keeping the coat longer, you might consider upgrading to our Big A (chrischristensen.com/chris-christensen-big-a-slicker-brushes) or Big G (chrischristensen.com/chris-christensen-big-g-slicker-brushes), which have longer 27mm pins for deeper coat penetration on longer coats but if you plan on keeping your Bichon shorter, you could absolutely continue using the Kärben.
