Easily one of our best selling items is our slicker brushes. From the Big G to the Mark II we have a variety of slickers to fit every need. In this post, we will cover each slicker brush we carry.
THE MARK SERIES
Our largest slicker line, is the Mark Series, which consists of traditional slicker brushes. We have a variety of sizes and head shapes to cover every inch of your dog or cat. Our Mark Series slickers are made with lightweight beechwood, like our Original Series, with scratch free pins, and an ergonomic handle, that are comfortable for you and your dog or cat.
The teeny Mark X, our Tiny Slicker, is the perfect size to get into difficult to brush areas on the face, armpit, and feet, and other small, hard-to-reach areas. Ideal for any size dog or cat, from toy breeds to Afghan Hounds, the Mark X, is a great specialty tool for those knot or mat prone hard-to-reach areas.

The Mark I Extra Small Slicker is a great option for small to medium dogs and cats, for every day brushing and mat removal.

Our biggest selling slicker in the Mark Series, is our Mark II Small slicker. The perfect size for virtually any breed, the Mark II is a favorite for a lot of owners and handlers. It is a great tool to remove small matts and knots, and for daily brushing and maintenance.

The Mark V Triangle Slicker was designed specifically for the armpit areas on medium to large dogs. Armpits are a spot that are typically prone to matting, and also hard to reach with a traditional rectangle shaped slicker brush.

The Mark VI Slicker has a rounded head that allows the pins to get deeper into the coat, and makes brushing easier on your wrists. Great for small to medium breeds with medium to long hair, and medium length coats that are dense.
- 4″ head • 6 1/2″ body length
The Mark VII Slicker has the same rounded head as the Mark VI slicker, with the same ergonomic handle, making brushing easier on your wrists and arms. Great for medium to large breeds with medium to long coat.
- 4″ head • 8″ body length
The Mark VIII Round Slicker is a unique slicker with a round head, designed to not leave lines when brushing. It also helps remove brush lines and is a great styling tool.
- 3 1/2″ head • 7 1/2″ body length
BIG G & BIG K SLICKERS
Our Big G and Big K series have been dubbed the Groomers’ Miracle Brush from the time and effort it saves removing undercoat, and dematting. These brushes are uniquely designed to save your wrists and arms with the ergonomic handle and curved heads, as well as do more work with each stroke, with the long pins that get deep into the coat to remove mats and loose coat.
BIG G
The Big G, also known as the Coral Slicker, has densely packed long tooth pins that are made for removing undercoat in densely packed coats. The G in Big G actually stands for Grooming. This brush was designed specifically with professional groomers in mind.
BIG K
Large Big K Medium Big K Baby K
The Big K comes in the same three styles as the Big G – Large, Medium and Baby. The difference in the Big K vs the Big G is that the Big K has 30% less pins than the Big G. This is ideal for dogs that have a cottony coat texture, such as Poodles, or dogs that have extremely thick coats, like Australian Shepherds and Siberian Huskies.
Pro Tip: The choice between the Big G and the Big K comes down to coat texture and type. Typically what is listed above works well for most dogs, however, if you find that the K doesn’t work for your dog try the Big G!
