Our Formulas Have Not Changed

We would like to clarify that we have not made any changes to our shampoo formulas. Our products are meticulously crafted to maintain the highest standards of quality and safety. Despite any rumors or misconceptions, our commitment to our products’ original excellence remains steadfast.

Seasonal Reactions and Common Causes

We recognize that this time of year can bring about increased sensitivity for pets. It is not uncommon for pets to experience reactions after grooming that can be attributed to something other than the grooming process itself.

#1 Flea & Tick Preventatives

Flea and tick preventatives applied after grooming can cause a reaction. Even without the application of a new treatment, pets may encounter residual flea and tick treatments on their bedding or in vehicles, leading to similar issues.

#2 Shaving

Additionally, pets can react to being shaved down or being groomed for the first time in a long period. Shaving can expose their skin to new environmental factors, causing temporary irritation. Pets that are not groomed regularly may have sensitive skin that reacts when they are finally groomed. These reactions are normal and typically subside with time and proper care.

#3 Bee Stings and Insect Bites

Insect or spider bites and stings can cause swelling, redness, and itching. Some animals can have an allergic reaction to a sting or bite that may result in a range of symptoms. Contact a veterinarian right away if your pet is showing signs of an allergic reaction.

Ensuring Product Safety

If you have a legitimate concern about our shampoos, we encourage you to provide us with the batch number of the product in question. This will allow us to retrieve a sample from our warehouse and conduct thorough testing.
